Lit-Link - for the
Literacy Office
Overview:
Lit-Link is a complete
set of information management tools (integrated database
modules) utilizing the FileMaker Pro database engine. All
modules use the same general screens and tools based on the
OM System, and were designed with the literacy office in
mind.

of use by staff and volunteers
- Existing records
can be imported into Lit-Link from other
files
Just open the Lit-Link
Module Launcher and take a quick interactive tutorial
demonstrating the system, or go straight to the "Guide" to
lead you through any task. With basic computer literacy
(mouse operation etc.) any staff member can easily retrieve
data, update or create new records in minutes (different
password levels allow for variable access).
Required
Items:
Mac:
- Any Macintosh - At least 8 MB
RAM.
- Mac OS 7.1 or
later.
- 25 MB free hard disk space
(allow another 10 MB free for your system).
- 1.4 MB High Density Floppy disk
drive or CD ROM drive.
- 14" video monitor - 4 levels of
gray (256 colors preferred).
PC:
- IBM-Compatible 486 (or higher)
-At least 8MB RAM (16MB for Windows NT).
- Windows 3.1, or Windows for
Workgroups 3.11. (Win32s MUST be installed before
continuing)
- Windows 95 or Windows
NT.
- 25 Mb free hard disk space
(allow another 10 MB free for your system).
