Property
  • Track your organization's property items. (eg. office equipment, supplies, real estate, vehicles, etc.)
  • Create insurance inventories.

  • Track employee/volunteer hours.
  • Use as a staff "In/Out board".
  • Log hours spent on special projects.

Library
  • Catalog books and A/V materials.
  • Track borrower information.
  • "Client Kiosk" allows patron check-out and check-in of library items, without access to computer desktop and other files.

Inquiry
  • Track inquiries made to your organization (eg. name, phone number, student inquiry, tutor inquiry, etc.).
  • Record callback information.
  • Take preliminary student/tutor information using a customizable telephone interview form.

Print List

Story
  • Store sounds, pictures, text, and QuickTime movies, and assemble them as a story or slide show.

Terms
  • Store definitions.
  • Quiz your students with the automated definitions "Quiz Show".

Quotes
  • Store your favorite quotes.
  • Print quotes in sign format.
  • Have a different quote appear in the Launcher at each start-up.
  • Some inspirational and humorous literacy quotes already loaded.

"B" Modules:
Priority
  • Enter to-do items.
  • Assign tasks.
  • Sort items in order of priority / category / delegate.
  • Print:
    - task requests
    - to-do lists
    - fix-it lists
    - travel lists
    - home/office purchase lists

Calendar
  • Use with the Priority module to assign dates to tasks and to-do items.
  • Schedule meetings.
  • Print calendars (blank or showing tasks/birthdays/meetings) in month or week format.

Accounts
  • Track deposits.
  • Track withdrawals, expenses, and transfers.
  • Transfers made between accounts need only be entered once.
  • Integrate up to 8 accounts.

People
  • Store contact information (name, address, phone, etc.) for all the people known by your organization.
  • Store employment history and education information
  • Record matching information and preferences and find and match suitable student/tutor pairs.
  • Track donors and fees.
  • Print mailing addresses on various sizes of labels and envelopes.
  • Create addressee lists for mail merge.
  • "Telemarket" for organization events.
  • Print all kinds of lists:

    - phone numbers
    - students/tutors/staff/board etc.

"C" Modules:
Job-Flow
  • Standardize job procedures by recording special instructions in this module.
  • Print job procedures/ special instructions to post in the office (eg. nightly close-up procedures or database data entry instructions).

Meetings
  • Schedule meetings.
  • Enter and print meeting agendas, delegates, meeting topics, etc.
  • Record and print meeting minutes, attendees, etc.

Invoice
  • Keep track of accounts receivable.
  • Produce tax reports and income statements.

Letters
  • Write and store letters and their lists of addressees.
  • Merge names and addresses in the People module with letters in the Letters module.
  • Print address labels for each letter.
  • Print letters in fax format to use with a fax machine, or fax directly using a fax/modem.

Stats
  • Automate calculation of literacy statistics such as participation hours of students and tutors, level of education of participants, age of participants, etc. (keeping accurate records in the People module will enable users to automate year-end stats).

  • Retrieve quickly any phone number stored in the People module.
  • Keep this module open on your desktop for easy access during the workday while working in Lit-Link or in other programs.
  • Handy timer for long-distance calls.
  • Dials the selected phone number.

AV-Bank
  • Store graphics, sounds, and QuickTime movies.

Jotter
  • Store notes & letters.
  • Basic word processing capabilities.

Feedback
  • Store questions, comments, requests and ideas about the Lit-Link system or another project.

Tutorial, Help, and other utilities are also included.

User modules

  • 7 blank, customizable modules.
  • Create your own modules (full working version of FileMaker Pro required) or replace with a previously made FileMaker Pro module.
  • Have your User modules easily accessible through Lit-Link by using the Custom Launch Pad.
