Stefan Podgrabinski
Stefan's comprehensive audio/visual background has prepared him for considerable eventualities in the field. To start, he was trained in classical piano and electronic music at The Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto (1967-1978). From there he built a solid reputation performing as a multi-instrumentalist and singer in clubs and hotels across Canada, and has been recording professionally, first as a musician and "drum programmer" and later as an engineer/producer. In the early eighties, Stefan earned a film degree, and since then has produced several albums and demos for other artists, and composed scores for a number of commercials, short films, and TV shows. Since 1987 he has been teaching Audio Post Production in the Media Arts Program at Ryerson Polytechnic University. Furthermore, in the past two decades, Stefan has composed hundreds of pieces some of which will form a "best-of" CD planned for fall 2000. |
